Sign up for an Ample Cloud account by visiting console.amplecloud.com
Passwords must be at least 10 characters and contain at least:
1 Upper Case Letter, 1 Lower Case Letter, and 1 Special Character
You will receive a 6 digit code at the email you provided. Enter this code to authenticate your email address.
You can resend your code by pressing the “Resend Code” button.
Set your mandatory Two-Factor Authentication Method by selecting from:
If you select Email as your 2FA method, you will receive an email with an authentication code each time you login to your account.
If you select SMS as your 2FA method, you will be prompted to enter the phone number you will use for your authentication. You will receive a text message with an authentication code each time you login to your account.
You can re-enter your phone number if you have any issue with the one you submitted.
Once you have submitted your Two-Factor Authentication code, your account is created and you have access to your Ample Cloud Console.
Once you have signed up for an account you can manage your details from the settings panel in your console. From your settings panel you can add and update billing details, manage your two-factor authentication settings, reset your password, and change your email preferences.
Navigate to account settings from the left hand navigation menu Settings Tab → Account Settings Tab
Alternatively, you can access your account settings by clicking on your user icon in the top right corner of your console.
Two-Factor Authentication is mandatory for all Ample Cloud accounts for security purposes.
When you create your Ample Cloud account, you must select a Two-Factor Authentication method. All users will have email available as an option. Users in the United States can choose SMS Message as an alternative method for verification.
You can find your 2FA Settings by navigating to Account Settings → User Settings → 2FA Security
If you have selected email as your default, you will receive an email with a 6 digit code for authorization each time you login to your account. This code will be delivered to the email address that is saved to your account.
For users in the United States, you can select SMS Message during sign up or enable it from the 2FA Security Page.
Click Enable to add your phone number if you haven't previously provided one. Once a phone number is verified and stored you can alternate between default methods by pressing the default button.
You can remove your phone number by pressing the remove button. This will automatically change your default method back to email until you add another phone number.
